Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Engineer located in Staunton, VA. The Project Engineer will assist project managers and superintendents with technical and administrative tasks, including RFI creation, submittal management, document control, schedule updates, jobsite coordination, and quality management. The Project Engineer will gain hands-on experience in both field and office operations while supporting successful project delivery.


Qualifications

  • Understanding of construction documents, specifications, and building systems.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with scheduling and web-based project management platforms is a plus.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, design professionals, and subcontractors.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • Internship or 1–2 years of commercial construction experience preferred.
