Legacy is partnering with Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) to transform the 2nd floor of the Giuseppe Center into state-of-the-art simulation labs. The project will reconfigure approximately 1,931 square feet to create four functional lab spaces, providing modern, safe, and efficient learning environments for students while preserving existing occupancy and egress paths. Renovations include updated lighting, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, ceilings, walls, and finishes, all tailored to support specialized equipment and lab operations.

The project requires careful coordination to minimize disruption to the rest of the building, ensuring PVCC’s day-today operations continue uninterrupted. Legacy’s team is collaborating closely with RRMM Architects and the Virginia Community College System to ensure that all spaces meet functional, accessibility, and safety requirements. Thoughtful planning and phased execution will provide flexible, efficient labs that enhance the college’s educational mission and support student success.
